Support Your Child's Health
Your child's gut, nutrition and genetics shape their energy, digestion, immunity and development through the years that matter most. Whether you're trying to get to the bottom of ongoing tummy troubles, low energy or fussy eating, or you simply want a clearer picture of how their body is working, these tests turn guesswork into real information you can take to their doctor. And they're gentle: every sample is a stool, urine, saliva or cheek swab you collect at home - no needles, no blood draw, no clinic visit. We recommend involving your GP or paediatrician in deciding what to test and in making sense of the results.

Understanding your child's gut
The gut microbiome develops rapidly through childhood. A stool test maps the bacteria present and how that compares with age-matched reference ranges - useful background information if your child experiences digestive symptoms such as bloating, irregularity or discomfort. Sample collection is done at home, with no blood draw. Persistent digestive symptoms in a child should always be reviewed by a GP or paediatrician. See also our gut health & digestion testing.

Infant-specific microbiome analysis accounting for delivery mode, feeding type and early microbial development milestones.
PCR analysis of oral bacteria, fungi and pathogens linked to gum disease, inflammation and systemic health.
Nutrient and metabolic markers, from a urine sample
An organic acids test uses a single urine sample to measure by-products of your child's metabolism - markers relevant to how the body produces energy and processes certain nutrients. It is a wellness and information tool, not a diagnostic test, and results are best reviewed with a qualified practitioner who knows your child. For the wider nutrient picture see our nutrition & micronutrients testing.

Genetic insights from a cheek swab
Cheek-swab genetic testing looks at inherited variants involved in processes such as folate metabolism. Genetic variants indicate predisposition only - they do not determine health outcomes, and a result on its own does not diagnose anything. We recommend discussing whether genetic testing is appropriate for your child, and what any result means, with your GP or paediatrician. See also our genetic health & DNA testing.
