Here is the direct answer. "Adrenal fatigue" is not a diagnosis recognised in Australian medicine [1]. But the thing people mean when they say it - a cortisol rhythm that is out of sync with how stressed and tired they feel - is real, measurable, and one of several common, treatable drivers of ongoing tiredness. What "adrenal fatigue" actually means
