Chronic Fatigue Test

Break free from fatigue
Fatigue isn’t the same as tiredness. It’s weariness, lethargy, apathy, and a general lack of energy all wrapped up into one depressing package that doesn’t go away when you sleep or rest.
Unfortunately most people don’t understand that. Friends and family can think you’re being lazy and might expect you to 'pull yourself together'. But fatigue isn’t a condition that you can recover from by trying harder or ‘thinking positively’. That's why we've design this simple chronic fatigue test.

While fatigue can be related to lack of sleep, it’s also usually related to doing too much, experiencing high stress and having a poor diet. For some people, it can become chronic, making everyday tasks increasingly difficult - sometimes impossible.
If you’re suffering from fatigue, the challenge is figuring out what’s causing it. This chronic fatigue test investigates the underlying factors that can contribute to a general lack of energy. Based on your blood test results, our medical professionals can advise you on simple changes you can make to improve your energy.
What's included
This ferritin test is a measure of how much iron you have stored in your body. Low ferritin can be a sign of anaemia caused by iron deficiency. This ferritin test measures how much iron you have stored in your body.
Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin found in meat products and certain algae such as seaweed. It helps maintain healthy nerve cells and red blood cells and is also needed to make DNA, the genetic material in all cells. Both high and low vitamin B12 blood test levels may indicate an underlying problem. Low levels can suggest anaemia, a parasite or hyperthyroidism, whilst high levels can be a sign of liver disease, diabetes or kidney failure.
Your thyroid gland produces hormones that regulate growth and energy expenditure. Thyroid disorders are quite common, and many people don’t have any symptoms at all. This thyroid test screens for the thyroid hormones that play a key role in regulating the body’s metabolism.
Vitamin D is essential for bone strength as it helps the intestines absorb calcium. Calcium and vitamin D play a critical role in developing and maintaining your overall bone health, and when you don’t get enough you increase your risk of developing osteoporosis and the incidence of stress fractures.
hsCRP is a highly sensitive marker of systemic inflammation. Even small elevations in hs-CRP can signal ongoing immune activity and are linked to higher cardiovascular and metabolic risk.
