Hair Mineral Analysis Level 2

Level 2 is the panel to choose when a 16-element screen isn't enough: a specific suspected exposure, an occupational or environmental question, dental or implanted materials, or practitioner-directed testing where the fuller trace-element profile is the point. Alongside individual results, the 12 ratios show how minerals sit relative to one another — a zinc level inside range can still sit against a copper level that changes what it means.
Hair mineral analysis is a screening tool, not a standalone diagnostic one. Results are best read alongside your history, examination findings and other testing — blood or red cell measurement remains the reference for confirming nutrient status. Results are also affected by natural hair pigmentation, colouring, bleaching, perming and washing frequency, so follow the collection instructions in your kit.
What's included
Hair mineral analysis Level 2 screens for 18 toxic metals, including lead, mercury and cadmium, plus thallium, antimony, barium, beryllium and uranium that a standard 16-element panel doesn't cover.
Hair mineral analysis measures nutrient and trace minerals deposited in the hair as it grows, including calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, iron and selenium. Because hair reflects a window of roughly the previous three months rather than a single moment, it shows the pattern these minerals form over time — read as a directional indicator alongside your history and other testing, with blood or red cell measurement remaining the reference for confirming nutrient status.
