sIgA is an antibody found in mucous, tears and saliva which is important to your body’s immune defenses.
This blood test measures:
sIgA traps invading bacteria so they pass through the body before causing an infection, and plays an important role in keeping pathogens from attaching to the intestinal lining.
Test instructions
